Hi DX swimmers, parents and coaches,
Our DX Constitution Policy can be downloaded here.
Please contact us with any child protection concerns. We will deal with any communication as soon as we can.
Please be aware that information may need to be passed to the DX Committee and the ASA Legal Affairs Department if the concern is considered serious and we cannot deal with it without their advice.
You can contact us at welfare@derventioexcel.org.uk
Child Protection
Derventio eXcel works in accordance with ASA Child Protection procedures.
Below are links to the “Wave Power” Child Protection section of British Swimming’s website, which is packed with advice and guidance for swimmers, parents and coaches.
There is also a link to the “Swimline” document, swimming’s version of Childline, as well as a link to further information about Swimline on the British Swimming site.
Accident / Incident Forms
Every care is taken to always ensure our members enjoy a safe environment and come to no harm. In the event that an accident, injury, near miss or other incident occurs which potentially puts a child’s safety at risk, it is essential that a full record is kept in order to minimise the chances of that same thing happening again.
