Thank you for supporting this year’s Derbyshire Junior Grand Prix series, I hope you and your swimmers enjoyed the experience. I was very pleased to see so many of our young swimmers from round the County taking part, it’s great to see them in the water after such a hard time through the pandemic.
It was also great to have Olympians Jacob Whittle and Abbie Wood support the galas.

Many congratulations to these swimmers – medals will be presented at the long course County Championships in December at Ponds Forge. I realise the 9 years olds may not be there, so please let me know if they aren’t going to be there, so we can figure out how to get their medals to them. All swimmers will receive a Certificate of Participation.
If you have any feedback about the 3 galas, please do let me know. We’ve tweaked the order of events and venue over the years, and I’m always willing to listen if you have any thoughts!
Good luck to your swimmers for the rest of the season.
Kind regards
Babs
